Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to the Contract team, with a focus on contract matters

2. Non standard commercial contracts

3. Standard commercial contracts

4. Identify potential risks and liabilities inherent in tenders and contracts, propose and negotiate amendments to minimize or mitigate the same, using judgement in balancing commercial/legal considerations against the requirements of the business, to secure conformity with Company’s acceptable contracting policies.

5. Commercial negotiations and provide advice to business towards the resolution of commercial disputes with customers.

6. Support commercial contracting functional matters, such as the drafting of standard agreement terms, acceptable contracting policies, and supporting related training for business stakeholders.

*Capable of managing overall ship repair and ship construction on a timely basis.

*Proficiency in performing functions with various departments in shipyard.

*Key focus on developing and managing relationships with Internal and external clients to acquire new business for the organization

*Experience in managing receipts, outstanding receivables & reconciliation.

*Proven record of identifying the opportunity areas to save cost & other resources, reducing unnecessary steps in the shipping process to run the operations in        effective manner, thereby helping the process in reducing operational cost.
